The cultural centre replaces an ageing predecessor and opens toward the town square with a transparent foyer. A convertible hall for up to 600 guests can host anything from concerts to balls to congresses. Mobile partitions and flexible seating make the building a versatile venue for the town's cultural life.

Fair-faced concrete, oak slats and a warm brass tone shape the interior and support a balanced acoustic. The cantilevered canopy creates a covered forecourt and marks the entrance within the urban fabric. Carefully planned stage technology and barrier-free access make the building practical for organisers and audiences alike.
